Where do I start, thought my car was ready for the scrapper £30,000 wasted only had it 2months and then I found Royal Rebuilds.
Sorted my car out put it all back together as it was left in a right state as the dealership I sent it to to fix went bust and had to go and pick my car up all in bits, the lads a royal rebuild must love jigsaws as it got put back together and all up and running in 2weeks, car engine couldn’t be saved so they dropped me a new one in, thanks again lads for your hard work I’m glad it’s all fixed and driving as it should again.

Writing this review 12 months on from having my Discovery sport engine rebuilt in February 2023 and having done 25,000 and 2 MOT’s The engine is very strong and hitting late thirties mpg on medium & long runs. Very confident that they have done a great job and hoping to run for coming years.Initially when collected car the diesel particulate filter part blocked which they identified and gave me cleaner- realistically they should clear the filter when rebuilding the engine.I would say to assist clients in future they give additional basic guidance on such things as reccomended oil changes every 8k ( which I am working to)rather than the 20k interval that LR reccomend.Paul was always helpful and Lee available to chat things through.

After spending weeks trying to find someone I felt I could trust to rebuild my Discovery 4 engine I settled on Royal Rebuilds. Within a few days my vehicle had been picked up. Around a week later I received a health report on my vehicle and a quote to rebuild my engine. After a couple of telephone calls to discuss the quote and options I gave them the go-ahead to start the work. A week or so later I was informed my vehicle was ready to collect. I was apprehensive about the long drive home with the newly rebuilt engine. It has now done around 2000 miles and so far, it’s not missed a beat. It’s had a couple or reasonably good runs and so far all good. It’s fair to say that thus far I’ve taken it fairly easy (keeping below 3k rpm) but it seems fine. I’m so pleased I decided on RR. They were knowledgeable and professional. Just what I needed when parting with a large sum of money. I would be happy to recommend Royal Rebuilds to anyone who is looking for an engine rebuild.

RR installed an engine in my LR Disco Sport after a timing chain broke. Paul and the team were friendly, and very knowledgable on LR. Very competitive rates. We’re upfront and honest about costs, scope of work, what may be seen after engine strip down and what could be required in worst case and gave cost estimates so I knew what worst case cost could be. Would recommend. I live in Bedfordshire but had no worries sending it miles away as research provided enough evidence RR was the right place and team to fix the car. I have a Land Discovery 4. It’s been fully serviced by Land Rover dealership Cambridge since new. Apparently, Land Rover vehicles have a history of oil pump failures and weak crank shafts leading to catastrophic engine damage and yet my dealership sent me away with a health check saying “noise coming from my oil pump.” Needless to say my oil pump shortly after failed and engine was severely damaged along with turbos.
Landrover quoted over £20,000 for a new engine and we was faced with writing off a very well looked after vehicle. Then I spoke to Royal Rebuilds. Their sole purpose is rebuilding these engines. The service from quote through to a completely rebuilt engine for a fraction of the dealership price, was impeccable. Not once did I feel like I was taking a chance on a garage with so much cost at stake. I could not recommend them enough and would even seriously consider buying another scrapped Landrover one day, with a blown engine, and have royal rebuilds fix it up as a fantastic value daily driver. As long as you have a company like this looking after your Landrover, then your Landrover should serve you well. Don’t be afraid to walk away from a dealership when you have company like royal rebuilds. A big thank you to all the friendly and professional staff. Especially Paul and Lee.

They collected the car and completed the work within their predicted time scales keeping me informed of progress and advising on additional advisory work that would save me money in the future. I had a replacement overhauled Discovery4 engine supplied and fitted by RR Rebuilds 1 month ago. The engine has now covered approximately 1000 miles since collection and to date has run faultlessly. All being well a further 1500/2000 miles will be driven by the new year.
Other than needing a top up of coolant I have been extremely happy with the work carried out.
RR Rebuilds kept to their quoted time schedule and informed me of the additional problems found after stripping the failed engine.

Reading the reviews online convinced me that Royal Rebuilds were the company to choose to rebuild my F Pace 3.0L diesel engine which the Jaguar dealer had said needed replacement after only 12,700 miles.
Car was collected by RR and although the rebuild took a little longer to finish than expected due to work load, was completed to a very high standard and looked as new. Driving back to Derbyshire was a pleasure, the engine running smoothly, much quieter and performing better than originally. Thanks to Paul and the team for a stress free experience and a big saving on the Jaguar dealership price, which excluded new turbos but were replaced by RR in the price quoted. Would recommend RR to anyone looking to have their engine rebuilt. Excellent service.

Just had to leave a review for Paui and the Team at Royal Rebuilds who did an amazing job on rebuilding the engine on my BMW320D after the timing chain had snapped, I nlive in Swansea and had tried numerous local garages and could not get a definitive answer on what it was going to cost me. I could have gone to the local BMW garage however cant afford to take out a second mortgage!! I contacted Paul at Royal Rebuilds having seen the website on line and straight away Paul made me feel reassured and confident of what to expect in repairing my vehicle, He very clearly explained what was likely to need renewing and how much it would cost, he gave me a minimum and a maximum based on the likely damage. So i went ahead and within the quote provided the following week they arranged to have my vehicle collected from Swansea and taken to their workshop in Burhnam on Crouch, Paul kept me appraised of the progress of repairs which took 4 weeks due to a waiting list which was reassuring in itself, Everything was clearly explained and they even replaced the worn clutch for me and only charged me the cost of the parts as they already had the engine out. They also arranged to have my vehicle MOT renewed and valeted the car ready for me to collect. Paul was true to his word with the cost of repairs and even knocked a little off upon my arrival at the workshop when i collected the car, I must admit i was a little nervous driving it back to Wales but within 10 minutes of driving i was once again totally confident in my car which continues to run as smooth as silk, I was given a copy of the breakdown of the cost of all the parts and labour and a 12 month warranty on the engine. I just want to say a big thankyou to Paul and his team and would have no hesitation in recommending them. Fantastic customer service and a job thoroughly well done.

I was a little hesitant at first, letting my beloved tho dead Disco 3 to be fixed by an unknown company so far away. I needn't have worried tho, Paul and his staff showed exceptional professionalism and knowledge with their advice, quotation and collection service. The 2.7Litre V6 Diesel had a complete lubrication failure but Royal rebuilds rebuilt the engine with reconditioned original parts and where necessary new parts to give me a fully functioning Disco 3 once again. The work was a little delayed due to COVID, that was last February. Since then I've completed just shy of 9000 miles and other than a slight oil leak from the engine sump gasket everything was just fine. Incidentally I reported the leak on Wed this week, they agreed straight away to repair at my earliest opportunity, which they did, yesterday (Thursday) No issue at all with the 12 month warrantee. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone needing a main engine repair.

6 Months ago I required an engine for my JLR after the engine broke. Royal rebuilds carried out the reconditioning of my engine as per there terms on the site and what was delivered has been more than professional. There pricing unfortuanlty was not the cheapest and turn around time was quoted 4 weeks which was longer than others however I'm happy when spoke with Paul from start to end what was quoted is what happened which I was sketchy about but very impressed and will return and recommend if I ever need services in the future. My Range Rover is now back on the road driving better than before (Very Happy)

Remanufactured the engine in my BMW 520 diesel last July.
Work done on time and to the price quoted. The staff , especially Paul were very professional and the car came back fully cleaned. Last week I noticed an oil leak and contacted Paul who arranged for me to take the car back to them. I arrived first thing in the morning and the car was quickly put up on the lift to find the problem. This was found and rectified and 2 hours after arriving I was on my way home. Danny, Paul and the mechanics do a great job.

Royal Rebuilds have been amazing throughout the whole process. When my beloved Land Rover engine failed they managed to rebuild my original engine in vast turn around. It's currently been just over 2000 mile since the process has been completed. The first interval service has been carried out as advised.
